Singhasan for Laddu Gopal
Padmini takes her name from the lotus, and the throne opens like one. Every petal is set by hand, one at a time, and the strands that fall at the centre are strung and knotted by hand until they hang even.
Every piece is worked by hand in our workshop and photographed exactly as it is. Free shipping across India, prepaid orders only. The Laddu Gopal murti and its poshak are not included.
What is a singhasan?
A singhasan is the seat, or small throne, on which Laddu Gopal is placed for darshan and daily aarti. It lifts the murti so he sits at the centre of the home mandir, and holds him steady while he is dressed and offered bhog. Size is chosen to suit the height of your murti, so he sits comfortably without crowding the seat.
